Online Ticket and Information: Our website is the most convenient way of making your ticket purchase, and it is completely secure. Pick your date, make your purchase, and get ready for a grand time. Your tickets will be waiting for you at the Ticket Office, located at the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Depot, the day of your excursion. Your tickets will NOT be mailed to you. Should you not find the trip date you wish or the information you need, just give us a call.

• Advanced purchase recommended
• Open Air Cars: Padded bench seats w/padded backs facing outward on each side of the car. No windows and is open from waist to roof. Max speed 15mph. Rain does not normally enter car except for blowing storms when we we accommodate as many as possible into the closed cars on a space available basis.
• Closed Climate Controlled Coaches: Aisle down center of car with 2×2 seating on each side along the windows. Seats face either backward or forwards.
• Payment is required at time of purchase
• We honor Visa, MasterCard and Discover
• Prices quoted do not include state sales tax or any applicable Ticket Processing fees
• All trains depart on time. Please don’t be late!
• Pick up Prepaid tickets at Ticket Office 45 minutes prior to trains departure
• Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure
• 48 hours advance notice is required for a refundable cancellation

ALL Military 35% Off

This discount applies to the Military Person and Spouse, and is offered on all regular scheduled trains except the Easter Egg-spress and Pumpkin Pickin’ Specials. Thank-you for your service! When picking up tickets Military ID Card, Veterans Driver’s License or copy of DD 214 is required.

Engine Rides – Minimum age 6

Come  along for a unique ride with the engineer and experience the railroad as the engineer does. Ride the engine round trip, or just one-way on the engine and coach the other. Our rates are quite low compared to other Scenic Railroads

Purchase a Season Pass, ride at least 3 times and you will have saved money. These Passes are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and may be used on any regular scheduled train.

Adult (13 – 64): $80

Groups of 15 or more paying passengers can apply for our Group Rate, a 12% discount! This applies to all regularly scheduled trips except the Easter Eggs-press, Pumpkin Pickin’ Specials and all trains during the period Nov. 25th thru Dec. 24th, A $100.00 deposit will hold your reservation until two weeks before the trip. At that time give us your final count and we will advise the balance due which must be paid in full 7 days prior to trip day. Two payments only please, the deposit and the balance due. Sorry, we cannot accommodate group rate sales on day of trip!
