All Aboard
You will board the train in Blue Ridge, GA, and travel to the sister cities of McCaysville, GA / Copperhill, TN. We offer a 4-Hour Excursion and a 2-Hour Express; both travel the same 26-mile roundtrip journey through the countryside and along the Toccoa River.
4-Hour Excursions begin with a 1-hour train ride through the countryside before arriving in the sister cities of McCaysville, GA / Copperhill, TN. You will then have a 2-hour layover where you can enjoy lunch or explore the two towns. After the layover, you will board the train and relax on the 1-hour return trip back to Blue Ridge, Ga.
2-Hour Express travels the same roundtrip journey, but there is no layover in the sister cities of McCaysville, GA / Copperhill, TN.
Concession Car
All patrons have access to the concession car located in the middle of the train for the duration of the ride. Cold/hot beverages, snacks, candy, etc, are available for purchase. You are allowed to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks aboard.
Handicap Accessible
Car 405 is our handicap accessible open-air coach that is equipped with both stair and lift access, along with a handicap bathroom. To make reservations for this car or if anyone in your party has mobility issues, please contact a ticket agent between 9 am to 4 pm EST daily at: 877-413-8724

The Caboose
Experience the historic Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad aboard your own restored Caboose that can be added to any scheduled train. This private car provides the perfect atmosphere for family reunions, birthday parties, private meetings, corporate events, or just a fun experience! Our Caboose accommodates up to 10 riders (including infants) with seats on the main level and in the cupola.

Winter Rides
Bundle up for our 2-hour or 4-hour Winter Rides. You’ll journey 26 miles roundtrip through the countryside along the Toccoa River, discovering winding rivers, rich wildlife, and the historic background of our small town. Its the perfect place to cozy up and relax for a while.
The two hour rides are perfect for those who want a quicker trip and more time in Downtown Blue Ridge, and our 4-Hour rides are great for those who want some time to explore the twin towns of McCaysville / Copperhill during a 2-hour layover.

*We install vinyl windows in open-air cars in the winter, so everyone’s body heat warms up the cars, but we recommend dressing warm just in case it gets a bit chilly.
